Hello, I’m Tomas, a 11 year old street light collector in Surrey, uk. I have over 150 light bulbs, and 15 street lights. My favourite type of light bulb is Sox, however, there aren’t many Sox lights left. Instead there are lots more LED street lights. Some of the pictures on the street lights page are from google maps, but most of them are my own pictures. Also, I will update this site almost daily. I agree about the LED lights - we have them where I live and they are absolutely rubbish. They should have consulted you before installing them.

This is an excellent website, full of really good information and great pictures! For street lamps, it will be interesting to see how they develop the idea of them being used for electric car charging also. Also, I found out that when more than 3 street lamps are on a single road, it means the speed limit is 30. The other fact I know is that the street lamps on The Mall by Buckingham Palace are able to collapse half way down so they can be folded and The Mall be used as an emergency runway for the Royal Family.
