This is my fluorescent Simmonsigns Lua, it has 2 8w T5 tubes and the photocell has been disconnected. The whole lantern is made of aluminium and I got it for free from the Surrey highways depot.

Here is inside the lantern, you can see the osram st111 starters, the fuse holders, the Royce-Thompson Mini-photocell, the capacitor and the bell and crompton 8w fluorescent tubes.
